  • Any distribution of candy or other items must be handed out. Candy may not be thrown from floats or cars. (Kids become too excited and can compete for candy if it is thrown and are more likely to leap into the street. For the safety of everyone, please hand it out)

  •  Please keep the parade moving and try to safely prevent gaps between floats.

  • Be aware of both sides of the road at all times

  • This year's theme is: It’s A Storybook Christmas. Floats should depict different, fun &/or outrageous decorating ideas around this theme.

  • HORSES: No horses are allowed.

  • MARCHING UNITS must remain moving along the parade route at all times. You may not stop to perform maneuvers.

  • Any distribution of candy or other items must be handed out, not thrown from floats or cars.

  • PLEASE NO SANTA…there will be one at the end of the parade and we do not want to confuse the children.

  • Vehicles cannot be entered for advertising purposes only. They MUST be decorated to participate or have some form of entertainment element in the seasonal holiday theme! Exceptions are classic cars, municipal vehicles and pageant queen cars.

  • Floats can’t be more than 13’6” high due to power lines.
